So what is SEO?

How is SEO relevant for you?
It’s important for you since we use SEO to naturally reference products displayed on our marketplaces. Organic search results (the unpaid results that appear after a query) are an essential tool for traffic acquisition and the starting point for visitor engagement and conversion.

Let’s discover the SEO section in your professional account
In your professional account, you’ll find a section called “My SEO”. Here you will find a table reporting all combinations of 2-3 strategic keywords linked to your products that Google indexes on its first page of search results, with a link to our website. This link will generally redirect to a search results page on our marketplace where your products are visible among others.
The exact position of these keywords in Google’s search results depends on Google’s algorithm which is constantly changing. The position indicated in your professional account may therefore differ slightly from what you will find in Google.
Why Google? Simply because Google has 75% of the global search market. Check out these impressive figures: the number one result on a Google search gets a click through rate (CTR) of almost 32%. And even if you’re not at the #1 position, moving up 1 spot will increase your click through rate by 30.8%!
This table will give you a quick overview of the keywords combinations we are well ranked in Google for, and for which we will potentially bring you more traffic. It is directly linked to the “My products” tab. If you modify your product list, the SEO table will automatically be updated.
The results are reported for our 5 main languages. You can sort the results either by marketplace, Google position or alphabetical order.
