[Manufacturers] New service: Distributor Sales Zone

We’re introducing a new feature: distributors can now specify their sales zone.

Our user research shows that the main reason for distributors not replying to a request is because the buyer is located outside of their sales zone. That is why we are letting distributors define their sales zone so they only receive requests from buyers that they can sell and deliver to.

I’m a manufacturer — how does this service affect me?

By having a defined geographic sales zone, your distributor will be able to respond to relevant leads more efficiently and more quickly.

Any request from outside of the defined zone will be sent automatically to the next nearest available point of sale in your network—either a neighboring distributor, an area manager or, if necessary, to your worldwide contact. As a result, your overall performance will improve since no leads should go unanswered just because they could not be handled by a local distributor.

Your distributors’ sales zones are permanently indicated on your “My Sales Network” page. A pop-up will also notify you of any recent additions. If you want to make a change to the specified sales zone, please contact your distributor(s).
