You may have already noticed that the menu of your Professional Account contains new elements. These have been added to facilitate access to the different resources available to you.

For example, using the menu on the left-hand side, you have a direct link to this “Smartblog”, which is full of useful information on how to boost your online performance and sales. If you want more information about our available offers and services, you can go to “Media Kit”. We have also added an entirely new page called “My Prospects”.
Who are “My Prospects”?
Since we launched our marketplaces, brands have been able to make their price options available to potential customers. Pricing is one of our visitors’ most sought-after pieces of information, and it is a determining factor in purchasing decisions.
To access these price documents, the buyer must click on the new “See price options” button on our marketplaces, then log in. If the product concerned is part of your range of products, a line will be added to your list of prospects with buyer information and the product of interest.

It goes without saying that these are highly qualified prospects which you can easily transform into leads since they provide their email address.

How can you get the most out of the different sales contacts?
Every request represents a potential sales opportunity, and to ensure that you make full use of the different types of sales contacts, we have provided you with this simple schema.

How about complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?
The GDPR recognizes that the responsible use of personal data and sales prospecting go hand in hand. It is based on a simple principle: buyers should be able to give their consent for the use of their data and withdraw their consent, easily.
To reflect this simple principle, all the forms on VirtualExpo’s marketplaces, whether they are used to send requests or simply to access information, contain the same legal disclaimer:

“The VirtualExpo Group protects your privacy: when you request a quote, documentation or price options, or when you consult a Seller’s price options, sales network or contact details, your personal data will be transferred to the Seller or, if applicable, to one of their area managers or distributors who will be able to respond to you directly. See our Privacy Policy for details on the method used to process your data, the purpose and your rights concerning this data. By continuing to use our website you agree to our General Terms of Use.”
Contacting prospects who have clicked on “See Price Options”
Thanks to the above disclaimer, buyers who click on “See price options” agree to the seller contacting them even though they did not actually send the seller a request. As a result, you can email these prospects concerning their research, without asking for their consent beforehand. This should be done 2-3 weeks later and not immediately.
Contacting buyers who have sent a request
Because buyers volunteer their contact information when they send a request, you are naturally compliant with the GDPR when you respond to them.
Don’t hesitate to contact your brands and encourage them to add their price documents to our marketplace. It will improve the quality of your prospects and requests.
